Here at Future Schools Trust (FST) we understand that the world of teaching is changing. Teachers are now coming from many different pathways and backgrounds, and we encourage and desire this diversity in our schools and want to make teaching as accessible as possible for the right candidates. We have found that this pathway is particularly successful in the recruitment of some of our vocational subject areas.

If you are someone looking for a change in career or have always had the dream of becoming a teacher or perhaps you are looking for a new challenge, this route may be for you! If you have the professional/ life experience that aligns with a particular subject and the ability to teach you can apply for an FST teaching vacancy as an unqualified teacher. Whilst working as an unqualified teacher you may consider completing a degree, followed by teacher training to gain qualified teacher status and we welcome applications of this nature into the trust.
